Their Iris™ 5070 is a radiation curable 100% solids, self-laminating adhesive that has the ability to join glass pieces to one another, or to metal substrates. Fielco Masterweld 5977A/ 977B Creates Superior Flap Wheel Adhesion Fielco, LLC Masterweld 5977A/ activator 977B is proven to be particularly effective epoxy for fabricating abrasive flap wheels and bonding nylon hubs to coated abrasives. It has excellent adhesion to metals, abrasive flap pads, and many different plastics. This product can also be used as a pourable casting resin which quickly fills large voids while simultaneously preventing excessive penetration through small gaps. This fast-setting, high strength epoxy cures in thin films (30 mils) in 2-3 hours at 72 degrees F. Adequate bond strength is developed generally within 6-8 hours, with slight improvement in strength continuing for one week. Elevated temperature cure cycle of 2 hours at 170 degrees F. will develop slightly improved properties. Mastergrip 1000 Keeps Your Paint Rollers Rolling From Fielco Industries, leader in specialty adhesives and coatings, comes Mastergrip 1000, a new formulation for phenolic tube winding. This innovative product is a one-part self crosslinking adhesive of waterbased latex. It is designed to be used in both RF and oven cured manufacturing. Benefits include rapid tack and excellent water resistance, while maintaining important phenolic core rigidity for paint roller durability. Application is simple: spread a thin layer of Mastergrip 1000 on the phenolic surface for bonding. If desired, you may coat both surfaces. Surfaces can be bonded immediately once the adhesive is applied, and roller core should be assembled while the adhesive is wet to the touch.
